`Gransberry Collective Inc. Contest

 

We are looking for undergraduate students wanting to start an LLC in TEXAS.   One Lucky winner will receive Filing fees to form a TEXAS SOLE MEMBER LLC and the first year of registered agent services for the entity. (See all Submission Requirements and Rules below to apply for the contest).   

 

Contest Submission Requirements: 

 

    1. MUST Subscribe to The Gransberry newsletter  (Click the word newsletter to go to the sign up page)
    2. MUST have instagram and follow the Founder’s social media page on Instagram @thegransberry ( click the word instagram to go to the pages to follow).
    3. MUST submit an essay to gcicontest@thegransberry.com detailing why you want to form a business using 300 words or less. GOING OVER THE WORD COUNT MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION.
    4. MUST provide CONTESTANT’S instagram name in email with essay submission.
    5. MUST BE: 
      1. TO U.S. RESIDENTS
      2. UNDERGRADUATE COLLEGE STUDENTS ( must submit class schedule FROM SPRING 2020 OR SUMMER 2020 )
    6. MUST use Gransberry Collective Inc. to file the LLC for us to pay the filing fee and service as the first year registered agent.
    7. MUST SIGN PHOTO RELEASE IF SELECTED AS THE WINNER AND AGREE TO PARTICIPATE IN NOTIFICATION POST ON SOCIAL MEDIA TO THE PUBLIC. DOES NOT REQUIRE SHARING YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA CONTACT TO THIRD PARTIES.
    8. We must receive the Essay June 12, 2020 by 5:00 pm CST. NO EXCEPTIONS. NO ENTRIES ACCEPTED AFTER THE DEADLINE.
    9. ALL REQUIREMENTS, including following all social media accounts, MUST OCCUR by 5:00 pm CST June 12, 2020.
    10. ALL RULES MUST BE FOLLOWED.
    11. THERE IS ONLY ONE WINNER BEING SELECTED.
    12. CONTEST ENDS June 12, 2020 AT 5:00 pm CST.
    13. WINNER SELECTED BY JULY 31, 2020.
    14. WINNER MUST FORM LLC within 30 days of being notified as the WINNER.

RULES: 

  1.  THIS CONTEST DOES NOT INCLUDE LEGAL ADVICE. 
  2.  THIS CONTEST AND THE SERVICES ARE NOT BEING PROVIDED BY A LAW FIRM.
  3. NO ATTORNEY-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP IS BEING CREATED.  
  4. IF LEGAL ADVICE IS NEEDED CONTACT WINNER SHOULD CONTACT A LAWYER.
  5. Failure to comply with any or all Contest Submission Requirements may result in disqualification.
  6. WINNER agrees they will or have reviewed the requirements of filing an LLC and maintaining a registered agent for the State of Texas.
  7. WINNER agrees they will NOT rely on Gransberry Collective INC. to advise on their company formation or name selection.
  8. The Gransberry Collective is only paying to form an LLC being created and owned by a SOLE MEMBER LLC.  In order for the Gransberry Collective Inc. to cover the cost it must be an individual. 
  9. The contest is not for the filing of a Corporation.
  10. This contest does not include completing forms for tax elections such as S-corp or C-corp.  THAT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.
  11. This contest includes filing fees for one (1)  LLC charged by the STATE OF TEXAS WHICH IS CURRENTLY three-hundred dollars ($300.00) and one year of registered agent service provided by GRANSBERRY COLLECTIVE INC. ONLY.  THE WINNER WILL NEED A REGISTERED AGENT ANNUALLY AND MUST OBTAIN ONE BEFORE THE END OF THE FIRST YEAR.  IT IS A REQUIREMENT OF THE STATE.
  12.  No other company or entity can be substituted for the free registered agent service unless the LLC owner is going to serve as their own agent.  If the owner elects to serve as their own registered agent there is no additional financial compensation to the winner. 
  13. This contest does not include filing any DBA’s or Assumed Names
  14. Gransberry Collective Inc. is only providing filing services under the contest and the one-year registered agent service. 
  15. We will not complete the application form for the winner.  We will only submit the form as completed.
  16. The winner must complete the state of Texas filing form for a Texas LLC and The Gransberry Collective will ONLY submit the information completed by the winner on the form. 
  17. If the winner elects to use a different service to form the LLC other than Gransberry Collective Inc. we WILL NOT PAY THE FILING FEE AND WILL VOID WINNING THE CONTEST.  This contest is for us to waive our service fee and cover the filing fees.  We will not pay for any other parties, companies, entities, or individuals to provide formation or registered agent services.  
  18. Rules are subject to change prior to close of the contest.  
  19. No rules OR contest submission requirements will change after the contest closes.
  20. Submit all questions to gcicontest@thegransberry.com. Questions will not delay or change contest closing date and time.
